1201 Third Avenue is a Seattle landmark building. Mark Garland, while employed at another firm, was the site based project manager for this classical style, Class A office building. Two facades of the historic Brooklyn Building are incorporated into the large podium base of the building. Construction was coordinated with the new Third Avenue light rail line. Demolition to occupancy of the first 30 floors was achieved in 19 months.
